Bagh (the garden) for Persians means a place full of high tree, water, and pool where you can enjoy the freshness and relax for hours. In Persian Gardens water, trees and buildings are the basic elements of Persian gardens designed in a most beautiful way which make them a UNESCO Heritage Site including 9 gardens in Iran.
One of them is Bagh e fin located in Kashan county. by passing a few kilometers through a dry road to the south of Kashan you will arrive at a beautiful garden full of trees with a delicate atmosphere.
The garden covered 23000 square meters near a spring. Because of its beauty, Shah Abbas decided to have a private garden there and built a palace in the middle of it. the structure of the building was open so you could have a magnificent schema of the garden in each side of the building and the pool in the middle of the building make the air so delightful. The private bathhouse at the corner of the garden has different parts of the Persian bath. The garden was surrounded by walls and towers to protect the garden and also the city.
Water was the main element of the Persian garden and the architecture consider it all over the garden.
The pool in the building has motionless water, running water exist all over the garden and he made a wonderful fountain in a pool in front of the building called Houz Josh. all by mechanic rules 200 years before Pascal.
At the reign of Fath Ali Shah Ghajar the garden was highly recognized and expended and some building was added: the palace called SHotorgaloui GHajar, mansion of Nezam Al Doleh specially built for king’s wife and family, royal bathhouse close to the Safavid bathhouse. Hereinafter the smallest bath where used by servants and people of that area and a door was added to the outside of the garden and the bigger bathhouse was for the king.
The chancellor of Fath Ali Shah was a talent person who cares a lot about Iran and tried his best to develop the country and has done so many valuable activities. But the courtiers did not like him because he avoid them to use the national wealth for themselves so they planned a conspiracy and kill him in that bathhouse.
By visiting the museum you can see a lot of ancient tool and tile and also get familiar with customs of that region.
