Isfahan fire temple known as Mehrbin or Dezbin is known among the people as Marbin castle or the fire temple. This is one of the 3 remaining buildings in the Isfahan and some believe that it dates to Sasani and Ilami.
Maybe the most important thing about this building is the bricks used here as well as the destroyed fire temple which is still there. Many scholars say that these bricks are being made by the soil and the sand brought by the Zayande Roud so they are even more firm.
This is one of the 7 big fire temples in Iran which is known for the use of wood in the building as it is the BeinAlnahrein architecture style. According to some Italian scholars, the building history date back to 1400 BD. Some sources believe that the most important fire temples in Sasani period were: Azarfarbogh, Azargashsb, AzarBarzin and the Isfahan fire temple is one of the most important buildings after these. This is on octagon shape building which was used to start a fire in the past and is so much beautiful.
